DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S IN YOUR AIR?

Unseen Danger: VOCs

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are air pollutants that are harmful to humans and animals. These invisible gases cause smog, deteriorate living and workplace environments, threaten underground water reservoirs, and can cause devastating illnesses. Some examples of VOCs are benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and formaldehyde.

In an effort to prevent toxic air emissions, the EPA has issued a final rule that requires refineries to monitor and report benzene concentration levels at each of their facilities fencelines. Fines for accidental emissions or non-compliance are prohibitive. The rule is in full effect this year. (Source: EPA)

The problem is that current monitoring technology options either lack real-time reporting or are very expensive and complex to implement and operate.

Omniscent sensor solutions can differentiate between different VOCs

The sensor solution can differentiate between different VOCs in real-time and provide the concentration levels of each VOC. Thus enabling users to take corrective action as needed.

A Unique Solution

Highly Selective

The sensor can differentiate between different VOCs and reports individual gas levels separately. Users can examine concentration levels of each VOC and take corrective action if needed.

Cost Effective

Our solution is based on MEMS technology. There are no moving parts, no valves, no mechanical pumps, and does not require a carrier gas. Our solution utilizes the polluted air as a carrier gas and air samples are analyzed onsite in the device. This eliminates the need for expensive laboratory and transport services.

Multi-Point, Time-Correlated Measurement

Determine the source of emission and its distribution across a geographical site by deploying multiple devices that use the data gathered to develop a pollution map in real-time.

Real-Time Data Collection

Data is collected in real-time with user-specified intervals. There is no need to wait days for laboratory results. Your data is ready and available 24×7

Always Connected

Unlike other solutions on the market, the Omniscent sensor does not require specialized personnel for onsite service every 16 days. The sensor is autonomous and can transmit results 24×7 via a cellular or Wi-Fi connection.

Overview

Our product is simple to use. Simply purchase a subscription and we will send a certified crew to install the devices. Once that’s done you can login securely from anywhere in the world and monitor your site VOC levels. If the device detects VOC levels that are higher than normal, you can take immediate corrective action.
